Gemma Norrington Davies: Personal Profile

Gemma has achieved considerable experience and skills as a consultant. She is experienced in working as part of a team to achieve demonstrable results, and is committed to meeting deadlines and targets in a high pressured working environment. Her professional experience as a Programme Manager has allowed effective practice in applying innovative thinking to overcome daily obstacles and challenges in planning and delivery.

Gemma has become highly experienced in handling sensitive agendas and complex international relationships through work as a Risk Assessment Officer for the British High Commission. Throughout her professional career and training courses she has completed; Gemma has gained a thorough understanding of what is required in good governance in the 21st Century. Additional courses Gemma has undertaken include ‘Working with Ministers: Drafting skills for a range of Ministerial Requirements’, and a UN SAFE Training for Somalia.

Gemma is permanently based in Mombasa and has recently been working alongside Delta director Aileen Lyon on the Kenyan Joint Assistance Strategy.


Corrine Lanch: Personal Profile

Corinne has worked for the majority of her professional life in the criminal justice sector and penal reform. Her employment history in the UK focuses more recently in local government and previously within the Home Office, developing and integrating, resettlement and re-integration policy for young adult offenders. Prior to this she worked in offender management, assessing and supervising offenders both in prison and in the community.

Her development work overseas focuses on public sector reform, organizational change and criminal justice in South America, Europe, Africa and the Caribbean. Corinne has worked as a justice advisor to the Department for International Development in Malawi, focusing on providing safety, security and justice to all sectors of society. In Guyana Corrine worked with Delta as project coordinator on a justice modernization programme where she assisted in writing a justice sector strategy for the Government.


Water and Sanitation Sector Performance Reporting in Malawi

Delta consultants have recently completed a 3 month assignment in Malawi for UNICEF and the Government of Malawi’s Ministry of Irrigation and Water Development, producing a thorough annual sector performance report. (more…)
